Children Ministry

You Joshua and Abby Brown serve as the Associate & Children’s Pastor at Highland Church, where he is passionate about connecting children and families to the life-changing message of Jesus. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Joshua and his wife felt a deep calling to invest in the next generation, fostering a Christ-centered foundation for children and families.

With a heart for ministry and education, Joshua also serves as the Dean of Students at Highland-Academy, bringing his expertise as an educator to both the church and the school. His experience in leadership and teaching allows him to create engaging, faith-filled environments where children can grow spiritually and thrive academically.

Whether leading children’s ministry, equipping parents, or mentoring students, Joshua is committed to building strong families and helping the next generation walk confidently in faith. He believes that every child is uniquely gifted by God and strives to create opportunities for them to experience His love in a meaningful way.

Josh and Tiffany Skillman serve as the Associate Pastors of Family & Youth at Highland Church, bringing a deep passion for the Word of God and a heart for ministry. Originally from Greenfield, Indiana, the Skillmans have dedicated their lives to strengthening families, equipping youth, and fostering spiritual growth across all generations.

At Highland Church, Josh and Tiffany lead our Family Service and Youth Ministries, creating dynamic, Christ-centered environments where individuals and families can grow in faith together. Their ministry extends beyond the church walls, playing a vital role in Highland Roadways to Recovery, where they walk alongside individuals seeking healing and transformation through Christ.

With a heart for discipleship, Josh and Tiffany believe in building a strong foundation in the Word, cultivating deep relationships, and empowering the next generation to live boldly for Jesus. Their leadership is marked by authenticity, compassion, and a commitment to helping families and youth LOVE, SERVE, and BUILD for the glory of God.
